Choose an integration
Choose the simplest DeepFrame API path for the result your application needs.
This page helps you pick the right DeepFrame API path for your application.
Every integration starts the same way: authenticate, upload a video, and wait until its indexed evidence is searchable. From there, choose the result your application needs. You can reuse the same indexed video across every path.
Not sure where to start?
Start with Search for moments. It has the shortest path from an indexed video to reviewable, timestamped evidence. Add another path when you need a different result shape.
Choose by outcome
Search for moments
Find relevant scenes with a natural-language query and return ranked, timestamped evidence.
Ask questions
Ask a question across one or more indexed videos, keep follow-up context, and receive an answer with citations.
Run a rule-based review
Apply a reusable rulebook and receive evidence-backed findings with an explicit result state for each rule.
Extract structured answers
Use an analysis profile to return named answers, typed fields, provenance, limitations, and evidence for downstream systems.
Compare the paths
| If you need | Start with | Main result |
|---|---|---|
| A relevant clip or timestamp | Search for moments | Ranked matches with evidence |
| A cited answer and follow-up questions | Ask questions | An answer with citations |
| The same checklist applied repeatedly | Rule-based review | Findings by rule |
| Stable fields for software or reporting | Structured answers | Typed answers and reports |
Search does not create a run; rule-based review and structured extraction do. Question sessions keep a short server-held conversation history. These are different result models, not different upload pipelines.
Prepare once
- Create an API key and select access.
- Upload the video.
- Track indexing until the video is searchable.
- Follow one of the paths above.
